| What's the condition that has to be met for the first rounder in 2013?
Absolutely ridiculous trade from Oakland

| I'm stunned by the Palmer trade.
The 2013 pick is a 2nd rounder that is bumped up to a 1st rounder if we win a divisional playoff game this Season.

Jerome Harrison played for the Eagles last year didn't he? Why the hell didn't they just keep him?

| The Broncos and Raiders showing the rest of the NFL why they are, and will be for a number of years, the bottom dwellers of the league.
The Broncos managed to sell their number 1 reciever (and the previous seasons receiving yardage leader) for absolute peanuts.
However to cap it off the Raiders blow a 1st and a 2nd (I don't see them winning a play-off game) for a QB who at his peak was nothing special, has had injuries in the last few years (leading to vastly reduced arm strength), is a magnificant 0-2 in the play-offs and hasn't done anything for about 9 months. All the while they were the only team bidding! Absolutely hilarious franchise.
Teams who draft poorly get found out and have to make ridiculous trades like this.

| In fairness, the Raiders have drafted pretty well the last couple seasons, Heyward-Bey is turning his career around, McFadden is a monster, this year's rookies are impressing. Palmer is a big risk, but given reports from practice yesterday, it could work out very well.

The Raiders have always had a "win now" mentality. It probably is a bit too much, but he has history with Hue Jackson who obviously believes in him.

You'll be happy when you draft Andrew Luck in 2012.

just seen he's a red shirt junior so can stay another year, he's said the "suck for Luck" thing is stupid so I'd love it if he stayed another year in college and Miami who are so obviously tanking this season missed out on him.

| Don't think it would change anything if he stays in college to be honest. Just means there will be a suck for luck ii. Guy will go number one whenever he declares himself eligible. If we get the number 1 pick I'm looking forward to the bidding war for our pick.
