And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

I get the impression now liverpool are starting to smell the title. They can feel it.

If today's result stays the same as is current, then they are in control of the situation. Win the rest of their games, and they will be champions, regardless of what happens in city's extra games.

And if City win all of their games they'll win the title instead.

The truth is it's utterly retarded to count on a side winning six games in a row, especially when two of those games are against two of the other title challengers.

It's pretty much certain that all the top three will drop some points between now and the end of the season. The winner will be the one that drops the least.

Yes, thanks for that. The reason I pointed that out, was because before this weekend, liverpool winning the rest of their games wouldn't have given them the title, whereas it still would for City. Nothing has changed this weekend for city, win the rest of their games...they win, but it has for liverpool with city drawing. Of course no one expects either team to win all remaining games.

With liverpool suddenly having more control on the situation, it may give them added impetus. Momentum is a huge thing at this time of the season, like in 2012 when united losing at wigan suddenly gave city that added boost.

But yes, the winner will be the one that drops the least, great insight. A pearl of wisdom.

To be honest, out of the teams left in the race i'd prefer liverpool over the other 2. Failing liverpool my second choice would be chelsea. Chelsea purely because of Hose Mourinho, and liverpool because it would be a refreshing change, they haven't won it in a generation and haven't spent a huge amout of money over the last 12 months but could go from 7th to 1st which still gives the game a semblence of ''anything is possible'' which oil money has largely destroyed.

I reckon five wins and a draw for either LFC or City will do it, I agree, dropped points are inevitable at this stage. Chelsea probably need more points.

At this stage I'd be happy if City get 5 points from our 3 away games. We might drop unexpected points at home but so could Liverpool and Chelsea.

City's game at Liverpool is the one that everyone seems to be focusing on but our trips to Everton and Palace are at least as difficult. The Liverpool game probably best suits our style of play, they'll push players forward and we should have opportunities on the break. I'm not expecting a 0-0

The team that loses the title now will be the team that drops the most points, and the team that wins will be the team that wins the most games.

To be fair (and it's the only time I'll be fair with a pundit), if they put a strong opinion out there they'll be absolutely shot to bits, but, IMO, why are they in the job if they don't want to offer an opinion?

Some people don't like Keane because they say he goes against the grain for the sake of it. IMO he puts decent arguments across and always offers them.

I watch the NBA and I find it amazing that our pundits can even be called that. They don't offer opinion, they use statistics and highlights woefully and they seemingly do little research into the game to gain further understanding. Being a past player just isn't enough.

He wasn't talking about pundits. He was talking about me.

But I was only responding to his stupid comment that LFC winning all their games would bring them the title. Carragher and Neville would have slapped him down over that but he won't accept me countering what he said.

Big wins for Citeh and Chelsea today. Will we see Liverpool wilt under the pressure after the other two already have their results in the bag? Huge challenge for us this, Allardyce knows how to ruin things for us and he has done many times. I'd love our confidence to carry on and we blow them away, but this one is much more of a nail biter compared to the Spurs game. Those results last week gave us two goals before the game was even played.

LOL

Are you for real?

I was talking about the pundits, hence my reference to the pundits at the bottom of the post.

You just made yourself look a right tit.
