Did anybody watch the Herschel Walker documentary on ESPN America? Superb insight into the struggles he had as a kid, and how he turned himself from an overweight teenager with a speech impediment to one of the greatest athletes the game has ever seen. Amazing stuff.

Yeah, it was an amazing show. I cant believe how fit he still is at his age too. I've never been half as fit as that even when I was playing 2 games of rugby a week and 3 training sessions (not saying that the training regime of an amateur is anything like what he's done in his life btw ). The guy's a beast! I never realised he'd done so many sports at a high level too.

I remember the trade to the Vikings, it was after that the Cowboys kicked on due to the multiple picks recieved. There was one of ESPN about Marcus Dupree, equally talented.

I'v seen a few of the ESPN 30 for 30's but not this one unfortunately, I really enjoy watching them all especially any that are NFL related, although there was one about the L.A Raiders last night that I turned off after 10 minutes because I had to be up early.

May have to give college football another try seeing as it's on all day on ESPN, I can watch it in bits but just can't watch a full game because it bores the hell out of me!

Would probably help if I had a team to follow I guess, always keep a lookout for the Boston College score when I remember so I guess I'm a 'fan' of theirs. Are they any good?

Won 44-37 today, not one for the defensive purists, though we were constantly switching guys in & out to get them game time. Lost a corner to a knee injury, and our best Linebacker has fractured ribs.

Rookie RB scored 3 TDs though, so can't complain.
