No. I respect their history and their awesome record of achievement.
But I'm 100% CFC and am happy with the history we have - good, bad and mediocre.

Couldn't believe how static we were after going two up today. The last ten mins of the first half and most of the second half we were very slack, we didn't even counter with much intent which allowed Citeh to attack at will. Very glad we won with such controversy today. We played Citeh away after Christmas and played very well, we had a certain goal chalked off for Sterling being offside when he wasn't, so I was pleased that things 'evened' themselves out today.
Won't believe we can win the league 'til we're holding the trophy and Brendan's wearing the crown, but today was a huge step for us.
Won't be making any calls on the Chelsea game. It'll be a huge game, I'm just glad we're at home for it. Hope Sturridge is fit.

| What's going to happen is that Chelsea win the rest of our games this season.
But Man City are going to win the rest of theirs, so they're champions.
No matter what happens though the fact that Liverpool are top of the table and title favourites right now is because of a truly exceptional run of Liverpool results. 10 wins in a row, including a victory at Old Trafford and a home win against Man City in a "title decider" is an awesome achievement.
I strongly dislike LFC and cannot stand Brendan Rodgers, but what they've done this season has been a revelation.

I think for the equaliser he was silent, wasn't he?
No matter how much some commentators try and claim impartiality, the fact is they give themselves away with the way they react to things during the game.

Not sure, i've only seen the snippets of City's first (the dead puppy incident) and Coutinho's winner, (A.K.A 'Tyler won the Euromillions 100 times over' incident)

TBH I think it was the nature of the goal which was reflected in the commentary, it was a bit of a mess not a well taken equaliser. Initially it wasn't that clear where the ball had gone.

And as you say, we had some contenscious decisions go against us, so regarding the Skrtl handball, made up it wasn't given; Sakho's challenge, glad it wasn't given as a pen. Henderson's red card I was fine with that, awful and unnecessary challenge.

Wouldn't like to predict the outcome of that one, but I'm not thinking about that game. Norwich away at the weekend, that's the next stop.

Sad thing is, for years we've longed for the title race, for years we've watched from afar, and now we're here, we want to sit on the fence for fear of jinxing it and looking absolute knobs if it all goes wrong.
I think every Liverpool fan can put their hands up and say this season has gone way beyond any expectations, even if we don't win it. If we do win it, IMO it would surpass even Istanbul in terms of achievement, purely for the consistency required versus the quality of Chelsea and Citeh.

I wasn't paying enough attention to get the fact entirely right. But they were saying on Sky that Liverpool ideally need to win the rest of their games, but they said no team has ever won fourteen games in a row. Was that in a row to win the title, or just in a row in general?
Knocks me sick just thinking about the football at the minute, I wish Warrington were much cop to take my mind off it.

| Off the top of my head I think the record number of wins in a row is 11. Man United hold the record.
I do think if Liverpool win the league it's definitely the best ever PL title win.

| I'm a big liar.
Arsenal won their last 13 games in a row to win the 01/02 title. They also won the first game the next season, so that 14 wins in a row is the record, and also to win the title.
And talking of records, Liverpool are 10 short of Chelsea's record of 103 goals with 4 games to play. A lot of Chelsea fans really don't want Liverpool taking that record. For me you can have it as long as we win the league.

| Liverpool have won the league. Chelsea and City will drop points, Liverpool won't.
They deserve it too, as much as I hate to see it happen. The likes of City and Chelsea are guilty of thinking they are vastly superior and rotating their squad every week. Liverpool don't, it's the same team each week.
What I think it funny is that there are no accusations that Liverpool are or have bought the title. I read today that they are set to announce losses of £100m over 2 years. That's a staggering figure.

Liverpool have played 39 games so far this season. Chelsea 51 and City 52 (and they have 2 league games to catch up on).
Man City have played 4 games away in Europe, Chelsea have played 6 games in Europe.
You've got to rotate players if you're involved in Champions League campaigns. Liverpool haven't been in Europe and went out of the cups very quickly.
See how manage if they try doing this next season.

That figure is not allowed under FFP. They're not being audited this year because they haven't been in Europe.
UEFA are making an announcement over clubs that have failed FFP this week. Man City and PSG are supposed to 2 of the clubs to have breached FFP. What they do about it will determine whether FFP lives IMO.

| Uefa are desperate to keep the European Commission on board with FFP. They can only do that by reserving serious punishments for teams that don't pay the bills or make sustained losses without making any attempt to become profitable. They can't use FFP to prevent new owners investing to break into the cartel. City will be profitable this year. If City are found to be in breach by more than the value of pre June 2010 contracts, they'll probably face a transfer embargo and then FFP will be sorted in the courts

It's still so difficult to call, and will probably go to the last game of the season with all 3 still able to win it.
If chelsea go to liverpool and mourinho their asses so it ends a draw, city show their class at everton and win all their other games (4 are home game bankers), city win. City still stand a very very good chance but because you look at the table and see a 7 point gap, plus the fact one of theirmain rivals just beat them it's easy to be clouded by this.
For liverpool to win they'll need to equal the PL record of wins on the trot, I'm not sure how likely that is. I feel like one of their last 4 games will be a draw, with the most likely being the chelsea game.

| Right now Liverpool are favourites, Cith 2nd favourites and Chelsea 3rd.
I have absolutely no idea what order they will end the season in.
I don't see Liverpool winning all 4 remaining games. I don't see Chelsea winning all 4 remaining games. I can see Man City winning all their 6 games, but given their penchant for bottling I can also see them slipping up.
My best guess would by 1. Liverpool 2. Man City 3. Chelsea.
But I definitely know that Jose Mourinho has the capacity to win a league and CL double with this Chelsea team too.

If it wasn't for hose mourinho I wouldn't have given this chelsea team a prayer. Not that they are a poor team, far from it, they just don't have the strike power up front citeh and 'pool have.

| They're not out of it, just slipped to third favourites now.
Just shows that points have to be earned. Both games tonight were pretty much considered points already won for Everton and Man City. Everton lose and City draw, both causing massive damage.
Delighted that results shoved Pellegrini's stupid words down his throat.
