The problem with Oldham is that we keep having to play rubbish teams. Then we lose.

When faced against a so called good team we play well and get the points we need. It has been poor the past few weeks though.

The Alex have announced today that with immediate effect, Dario Gradi MBE will take over the role of first team manager on a caretaker basis.

Chairman John Bowler is in discussions with Steve Holland concerning his future role at the football club.

Just to clear up one thing, Gradi had never given up his involvement (meddling) in the first team. He stepped out of the job when Crewe were on the slippery slope (his doing) and then refused to let Holland do his own thing. My seat is not far from Dario's and it's amazing how many messages he conveyed to Holland through his comical sidekick Baker during games - director's orders and all that.

Although a number of Crewe fans believe this could kick start our season, I am royally peed off that this once hero, recent villain, has-been manager is allowed to once again call the shots.

You have my sympathy Steve, you never had a chance.
