I think for the equaliser he was silent, wasn't he?

No matter how much some commentators try and claim impartiality, the fact is they give themselves away with the way they react to things during the game.

Not sure, i've only seen the snippets of City's first (the dead puppy incident) and Coutinho's winner, (A.K.A 'Tyler won the Euromillions 100 times over' incident) :D

TBH I think it was the nature of the goal which was reflected in the commentary, it was a bit of a mess not a well taken equaliser. Initially it wasn't that clear where the ball had gone.

Couldn't believe how static we were after going two up today. The last ten mins of the first half and most of the second half we were very slack, we didn't even counter with much intent which allowed Citeh to attack at will. Very glad we won with such controversy today. We played Citeh away after Christmas and played very well, we had a certain goal chalked off for Sterling being offside when he wasn't, so I was pleased that things 'evened' themselves out today.

We were a different team at the start of the 2nd half. Kept losing the ball easily, was very lethargic and once City scored, I just had that feeling that they would get back into it. When the 2nd goal went it, then that was it, game over.

And as you say, we had some contenscious decisions go against us, so regarding the Skrtl handball, made up it wasn't given; Sakho's challenge, glad it wasn't given as a pen. Henderson's red card I was fine with that, awful and unnecessary challenge.

Won't believe we can win the league 'til we're holding the trophy and Brendan's wearing the crown, but today was a huge step for us.

Feel exactly the same. Not into all that "We're gonna win the league" chanting, especially when there are still 4 games left to go. Some people seem to think we have it in the bag...........we don't.

Wouldn't like to predict the outcome of that one, but I'm not thinking about that game. Norwich away at the weekend, that's the next stop.

Sad thing is, for years we've longed for the title race, for years we've watched from afar, and now we're here, we want to sit on the fence for fear of jinxing it and looking absolute knobs if it all goes wrong.

I think every Liverpool fan can put their hands up and say this season has gone way beyond any expectations, even if we don't win it. If we do win it, IMO it would surpass even Istanbul in terms of achievement, purely for the consistency required versus the quality of Chelsea and Citeh.

I wasn't paying enough attention to get the fact entirely right. But they were saying on Sky that Liverpool ideally need to win the rest of their games, but they said no team has ever won fourteen games in a row. Was that in a row to win the title, or just in a row in general?

Knocks me sick just thinking about the football at the minute, I wish Warrington were much cop to take my mind off it.

Off the top of my head I think the record number of wins in a row is 11. Man United hold the record.

I do think if Liverpool win the league it's definitely the best ever PL title win.

I'm a big liar.

Arsenal won their last 13 games in a row to win the 01/02 title. They also won the first game the next season, so that 14 wins in a row is the record, and also to win the title.

And talking of records, Liverpool are 10 short of Chelsea's record of 103 goals with 4 games to play. A lot of Chelsea fans really don't want Liverpool taking that record. For me you can have it as long as we win the league.
