Doubt it, as good as Manning that roster is abysmal outside of Wayne, Mathis & Freeney.

I think they'd be capable of beating KC, Cincinnati, Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Not so sure about New Orleans, Houston and Pittsburgh (although Steelers were terrible in that game). 4-3 could have been a possiblity. With Manning, the defense is on the field less and the crappy running game is improved (but still crappy nonetheless) with defenses having to concentrate on stopping Manning.

We'd have beaten Cleveland, Kansas City, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh and Cincinatti had Manning played. In those games the D played really big, we had loads of posession but nobody to do anything with it!

I may be wrong(probably am) but I'm sure Wayne and Mathis are out of contract at the end of the season too?

Surely they can't afford to pay them both the big bucks?

Would take both at the Patriots in a heartbeat but we wouldn't pay what they will want.

Well I got hammered by St Conroy in the RLFans league meaning I'm 0-7 along with Harrigan

I have definately won 2 of my other match-ups already and if Joe Flacco,Lardarius Webb and Ed Reed outscore MJD by about 15 points I will beat West Cumbrian Rhino, should be close if Ed Reed is his usual self.

To be fair the vast majority of teams with an elite QB would struggle if he went down for a long stretch of time. We all like to think our back-ups would do a similar job, and can do in 2-3 games but can't do it for a full season. Hence a major part of the reason why the likes of Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, Brees get mega bucks and are seen as elite.
