Now, I don't think that is what's happened. I think that Suarez is probably guilty of the offence. Not as bad as the hearing ruled, but nowhere near as innocent as he and LFC claim. And LFC are simply trying to discredit the verdict after the event because they know that an appeal will fail because the truth will always see him copping a guilty verdict and a ban.
I posted a link on here a few days ago talking about a few things. From pieces I've read, Liverpool could only really have appealed to have a new three man committee/commission/whatever, but what would be the point of that if the FA would be selecting the people? Also, apparently if Liverpool wanted to take it to a higher court, like CAS, they would have needed the FA to agree to it. It's alleged that Liverpool are writing/have written to the FA asking for changes to the entire process. I'm not savvy enough about the FA laws or anything like that, so I can't really write a detailed response as to why Liverpool didn't appeal, but, from reading many pieces, it seems that under the FA's rules/laws, there weren't many grounds for Liverpool to appeal on.
