had a small bit on trifolium as he seemed too big at 9/2, think that one must've broke a blood vessel or something - went out like a light and he's done that for the second time in a row despite having a breathing op after the first.

countrywide flame piddled all over the mccain horse. typical mccain though cant just say they were well beat by a better, fitter horse on the day - they are blaming the ground. he sluiced through it fine during his cheltenham prep last year though, didnt he?

makes grumeti's form look even more solid, looking forward to seeing that one return. as for the champion, it will be hard for CF to beat the main protagonists, will be watching him with interest as the season goes on. galloping tracks seem to be best for him, i was at aintree when he was second and grumeti simply done him for toe on the flat ground.

three more bets for me today:

Bog warrior should be chucked in and if he stays upright should win this from the front - last chance on this horse today.

my two for the hennessy -

first lieutenant, they seem happy with him and he's had a few prep runs. E/W at 10s

diamond harry. could be chucked in on such a low weight if he hasnt fallen out with the game. at 25s i'm prepared to take an E/W chance

well the double just failed but classical mist won at 15/2 shame i put the wrong one in my double!
