didnt play much at the weekend, big bet on oscar whisky 1/4, and jovial tenners on grandouet and highland lodge.

looks like big bucks may not be running again this season, while al ferof has been confirmed as out for at least 12 months. along with the news sizing europe probably missing the king george.
What a sombre day for me. big buck's will go down as my favourite racehorse flat or jumps of all time and is the only reason i've started doing the aintree thursday now that i live a bit nearer. gutted. i really hope it is a bit of smoke and mirrors and he turns up at cheltenham.

just highlights what a cruel game racing is.

big buck's sauntered to victory on his seasonal bow and all looked set for a repeat of last season.
go native was nursed back after a few years off, gave hurricane fly a fright before falling at the last, fatally injured on the gallops.

bad news about big bucks and al ferof neither wil return now till end of 2013 at the earliest..such a shame big bucks cant win the world hurdle again and al ferof was looking like a new star..

mind you hunt ball at 50/1 is still looking good now for the king george

and itching to back oscar whisky at 7/1 for the world hurdle but knowing my luck they will run him in the champion hurdle so will wait.. either way ill back him in whatever he runs in, think he will go for the world hurdle now though 7/1 massive!!

We've definitely ruled out the King George for Sizing Europe due to the ground. The Dial A Bet chase and Lexus chase are now his two options

Poxy weather, antepost bet down. I still maintain he would've won it had the ground been good.

yep looks like its going to be soft for the king george if not heavy!! can rule out my 50/1 ew on hunt ball too i reckon

did oscar whisky at 7/1 for the world hurdle, think he will go for it rather than the champion hurdle.

done mr knightly again today at kempton 4/5.

and also small e/ws on gabriels gift & key ambition in the 7pm at kempton 10's and 20's

mr knightley won for me yesterday, very easily!!! money to be made on the AW with some of these in form sprinters

the two ew's i did didnt come off though

done lujeanie today which just finished in a dead heat!!!!!! gutted how close! 5/1 so still made profit and got it in lucky15 with ovett,puffin billy and simonsig.

poor jockey on ovett.

puffin bay looked good and simonsig looked very good pulling the jocks arms out all the way round!

dont know what to do in the king george, will prob leave it but if i had to i would go with riverside theatre e/w 11/2

the hurdle race is a cracker!!! would prob have to stick with countrywide flame though unless you think cinder and ashes can reverse the form on same going.

done katkeau in the last at kempton , looks like a pipe special...was going very well last time out till messing up at the fence, will be well handicapped
