now the following may or may not be true but as the FA dont need conclusive 100% proof to come to any major decisions just " it may of probably possibly could have happened how we see it"
thats how im looking at the following copied and pasted comments from other people
Denis Smith was one of the three that chaired the Suarez case for the FA.
Denis Smith is also the man that claims in his auto biography that he saved Alex Fergusons Job.
Denis Smithe coached and made Darren Ferguson his captain at Wrexham.
Denis Smith attended Darren Fergusons Wedding.
Its safe to say Denis Smith is a family friend of the Fergusons.
ALSO
Another interesting twist in this story, Kompany's ban has been upheld by the FA, a four match ban for his challenge on Saturday, and I decided to read the FA Report. It seems that 8 of the 9-man panel thought it should be overturned, but they need a unanimous decision to overturn red cards. The one man who refused to overturn the red card? You've guessed it, none other than Denis Smith.
i am not saying the above are true or correct..................

I'm sure I read that both United and Liverpool had the right to object to any of the three men making up the panel and chose not to.
If the FA have 9-man panels to rule on disciplinary appeals they are seriously overmanned.
