Can Liverpool not make new friends and support one of their players? Or is it one or the other? Considering Liverpool have never supported 'racism', it seems to me that Liverpool have always been doing 'the other', which is fighting against racism and making new friends. I fail to see what mistake you have made, have you assumed something or come to some sort of conclusion that you couldn't back up? Or maybe you were mislead through some sort of anti-LFC media that lead you to assume Liverpool were supporting racism, when they've not done anything of the sort.

Sadly it seems that being anti-LFC automatically means pro-MUFC to the thick scousers.

However I will clarify for one of them. Man U may well indeed have won 2 out of the last 3 Carling Cups but it was always a bonus trophy rather than a priority. It is pretty much a priority at Liverpool to win any pot these days and given the Premiership is a pipe dream then anything will do.

And, of course, they have the best chance in the one comp that the real good sides do not take seriously.

Maybe though the Carling Cup is considered quite an achievement over at Anfield Road these days however. I mind it was not too long ago they embarrassingly classed it as part of a "Treble" they were celebrating. Chortle.

What does he have to be bitter about regarding Liverpool? Who was calling it the dog's dangleys? Yeah, we take it deadly serious every year, it's reflected by the team selection in the early rounds. Clueless.

As you can see, both the fans and manager think it's the dog's dangleys.... These are the final line-ups, about 5 or 6 first choice players in each side, even in the finals we don't play full strength and have still managed to win it. That's how poor the comp is. We kopped one this year when we put out an awful team against a very spirited Palace team.

I think Gerrard was right to have a go. Mancini can't come out and call Rooney for trying/getting Kompany sent off, then come out and do the same thing himself. He done a similar thing at Anfield with the invisible card, pleading with the ref to send off Skrtel, yet the moment Rooney done it, bang, it's wrong. Whether Mancini was right to do it or not is irrelevant, because he comes out and criticises Rooney for doing it, he's instantly saying it's wrong for somebody to do that, so for him to turn around and do it smacks of double standards.
