Your son has had a magnificent career in football. He achieved truly great things as a player. As a manager he was pretty good, but the truth is that he really didn't have the bottle to be a manager. In 1990, United won the FA Cup. Most United fans I know think that was quite important. Kept Fergie in a job, allowed them to continue building their team etc.

In 1990 Liverpool won the league title. It was their 18th title, and their last. Something which would have been considered unthinkable at the time.

Back in 1990 I'm sure Liverpool's league title would have been considered as overshadowing United's achievement. But I doubt that United fans saw it that way at the time. And with the passing of time it seems to me that the FA Cup win has turned out to be by far the more significant event.

I think its a shame that the PL have arranged matches on saturday rather than playing them all on sunday, I would have thought that whoever played in the cup final. And I would have preferred Chelsea to win the league. But IF City win on Saturday I genuinely wont give a second thought to what United are up to.

Rather than Citeh fans having their glory diminished by United taking the league, I hope Citeh's fans blushes are spared because United lose to Blackburn and start to brick it because Blackpool need a win to stay in the PL.

No.

The title's already at Old Trafford as far as I'm concerned. It would just be nice to see United squirm during the final moments of the season. If anything just to give them a bit of shake before the CL final. They've had it far too easy in the last couple of months.

If I had to choose between Citeh or United losing at the weekend, I'd choose Citeh to lose.
