Very funny......Though I am slightly baffled by some of the comments that Fergie has 'mugged' Everton with this move?

I hope its a similar mugging that saw Tim Howard come to Goodison for peanuts, a move made more startling by the fact that Fergie has since spent almost £20 million on DeGea, who isn't a patch on the US number 1...

From an Everton point of view, expectations aren't high, so unless he's complete garbage on a Per Kroldrup scale, then things will be pretty much ok.

Realistically, he's just smoothing the path for Rodwell to go the other way in the summer.

Carrick was superb in front of the back four today and great to see him get a goal too.

Yup, yet ANOTHER horrible tackle, that would have seen anyother player sent off (see Yakubu, yesterday), yet 'Scholesy' doesn't even get a booking....what can you say!

At this moment in time, Howard is better than DeGea. When DeGea matures, he'll be better than Howard. Decent keeper though he is, Howard wasn't good enough to play for Manchester United. Same with Gibson.
