I'm totally confident that Jose is the right man to lead CFC. I have less confidence that Roman has the sense to see that.

Today was pretty awful, but half expected. Atletico Madrid went down to a 2-0 defeat and they're on top of the world and on their way to a title, we're pretty messed up mentally and knew a title was beyond us anyway.

I thought city winning the league would be more dangerous? Your pathalogical hatred of liverpool knows no bounds.

Poor old chelsea, mentally messed up. If chelsea are mentally messed up then Hose mourinho has failed to instill the mental toughness he has in all his other teams.

The amount of money chelsea have spent over the years and they play football like they have over the past couple of weeks, they deserve everything they get this season - nothing.

I think a City win is more dangerous. But a city win that gives them their 2nd title in 3 years is a lot easier to take than seeing the scousers end their decades long years of hurt. Yes I really do hate Liverpool, but only because they are complete and utter ****'s. In terms of ****ishness, Man City fans lose about 10-0 to the scousers.

Poor old chelsea, mentally messed up. If chelsea are mentally messed up then Hose mourinho has failed to instill the mental toughness he has in all his other teams.

Atletico Madrid - defeated. Real Madrid - a few minutes from defeat. Barca yesterday - drew.

Mental toughness will be ascribed to City or the scousers if they end up winning the title, but in truth it's simply last men standing. I think Man City will win the league, they will know that without us doing a job on the scousers last week they wouldn't have managed it.

The amount of money chelsea have spent over the years and they play football like they have over the past couple of weeks, they deserve everything they get this season - nothing.

We didn't play as badly today as the scouse filth did last week. And we don't have "Europe's deadliest strikers" at our disposal.

Our worst season in a decade and it's still not very far different from the scousers best season in a decade. IMO we'll have a far better season than Liverpool do next year.

Maybe the key to keeping your job at Chelsea is to win nothing!!

Unfortunately tonight is the night that City will be champions. I can't see us getting anything from Palace tonight. :(

The slightest slip from City means Liverpool will be champions. That factor alone should mean that Liverpool win their next two games. Palace is the most difficult task, but even that is a lot easier now than it was earlier in the season. Palace's success is mainly built on working themselves into the ground, and I don't see them really doing that.

Liverpool will need to clear their heads from last week, but they've had 8 days to do that. I can see a pretty good Liverpool win so they finish on a high even if they are pipped to the title.

If liverpool win tonight they are back top, 1 game to go and suddenly the pressure shifts to city who must get maximum points from 2 games.

The odds say city will win both their games, but you never know, liverpool needs to apply that pressure. Look what nearly happened against qpr 2 years ago. Both west ham and villa have taken points off the top teams this season, away from home.

The problem for liverpool is mental, because of what happened last week and with it now being in city's hands theres the danger they'll think they've blown it, which is why, like you say, they may lose.

I know you're desperate for city to win the title instead of liverpool, but it wouldn't it be great to have abit of last day drama like 2 years ago?

Liverpool winning confortably, with city drawing against a stubborn west ham going into stoppage time.......

I'm not sure it was wise of Rodgers to say that Liverpool are going to try to overturn the goal difference. Tonight's match is one that they should just try make sure of the points. If its 0-2 after 80 mins perhaps they could try a grab a couple in the last 10 mins. But going out with the aim of running up a large score could rebound on them. Hopefully.

Palace don't have anything to play for, they are safe. They have won 5 of their last 6 games though, including victories over Chelsea and Everton. Liverpool have everything to play for. We beat them 3-1 back in October. That's enough to suggest we should win this game. But as I'm me, I can't shake the negative thoughts that we'll slip up tonight. I'll probably only relax if we are 2 or 3 up at half time.

Unlike Liverpool teams of the past, I think they will have cleared their heads, no question. They know what is at stake. Thing is, even if we don't win the league, we've surpassed all expectations. Everyone connected with the club wanted CL football, we've got it. I don't think anyone expected at this stage of the season we would still be in with a shot of winning the title.

I don't think he meant it seriously. I even said after the City game when I heard the goal difference would be +9 that there would be load of talk about Aldridge's last game for Liverpool where we battered Palace 9-0. Perry Suckling is not in goal, so that is enough to make me certain we WON'T score 9 tonight!
