Barcelona are according to, well, everybody.
What makes a player world class? He has to have a PL winners medal to be world class
For me, a player to be considered world class has to be one of the best in his position, he has to perform consistently in the best competitions at club level. International football is a bonus, but matters little when compared to a club season, and I'd probably say international football is of a lower standard than CL/League football.
Lampard probably doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he plays for Chelsea. Seems strange, but if he was scoring 20 goals and getting 20 assists a season for United/Barcelona, he'd be much more popular and held in higher regard in general. Just go back and watch the past five years or whatever of Lampard at Chelsea, it's mad to believe how consistent he's been.
