How did you get 14/1 on Conti on Sunday, I didn't think any bookie in their right mind went higher than 10/1, certainly not now. Some have even gone 8/1.

I was astounded by Silviniaco Conti's win at Ascot on Saturday - in fact, I got up at 5am this morning to watch the race again to make sure I wasn't seeing things!

I don't think that I have ever had a horse that has surprised me so much in such a short space of time.

I tweeted on the way back from Aintree yesterday afternoon that I was considering going for the Bula at Cheltenham next month - and I can reveal, that all being well, that is where he will go next.

I have to give him a chance to stake a Champion Hurdle claim after Saturday's win.

What impressed me most was the supreme ease with which he travelled at Ascot, and Noel said to me that he hasn't even had a slap yet.

So I said: "Keep that until March!!!"

I saw that one bookmaker quoted him at 7-2 for the World Hurdle, but that won't be happening. He is not a stayer at this stage of his career.

If he finds 2m too sharp at Cheltenham, then I will aim him for the 2m4f Aintree Hurdle.

And Tizzard are just hinted Cue Card could in the same race could be in for a treat

Newbury 12.30 Super Kenny @ 3/1

Taken a chance on this one to finally show again the talent its got, supposed to have improved over the summer and could be well in off this mark with Bass claming the 3lbs aswell.

Newbury 1.35 Hells Bay @ 7/1

Alot on the focus will be on the Nicholls and Henderson runners which are class horses over hurdles, but Hells Bay isn't here to make up the numbers, Tizzard is getting a good tune out of him since buying from Nicholls and he run a good race behind RSA Chase fav Time For Rupert last time out an gave weight away plus Sam is well worth his 3lb claim.

after the haye v harrison fight.. some proper boxing this sat night / sun morning!!

froch v abraham... fancy froch in this, a fan of both but think abraham starts too slow and froch will build up a lead he cant get back... cant see any knockouts as both got good chins.. froch on points!

marquez v katsidis ... two more warriors.. fancy katsidis, tough and his brother dying last month will spur him on even more to become the champ!

Sad to see that Tell Massini's fall at Newbury today proved to be a fatal one. Sad nonetheless but he did look a horse with a handy future.
