What I can't understand about Toure is why would he move back to Barcelona he wasn't even in their midfield when he left?!

He is throwing a strop because he is treated as an employee at City (£200k a week wages should soften the blow you'd think) and his greedy parasite of an agent wants his 10% from a potential move.

Players and agents will have seen how Rooney and Suarez put in transfer requests last summer and ended up with improved contracts. There was a time when players would think twice about doing this because of the fans reaction. But nowadays players can do more or less what they like off the pitch and still be forgiven if they perform on the pitch. As were Rooney and Suarez. And most City fans accepted Tevez back after his golfing holiday.

Looking at England retaining, not just winning, the Under 17s European Championships gets me wondering if the FA have just made the biggest mistake they've ever made?

All the recent upheaval and major changes made to junior football in this country were designed to have us match the Dutch and Spanish. Seems that as at the age of 16 we're already doing that. The guys that are winning these trophies for us now were brought up on the old school systems.

I've watched a fair bit of under 7s football this year and it's utterly farcical watching the basketball style games of kick off / shoot / block / run / shoot / block / run / shoot / goal. All it does is makes it ridiculously easy for the athletic kids.

As we're the best in Europe at 16, would a more suitable quota to get English players playing in the Premier League not have been a more suitable change than tearing the junior game to pieces?

Looks like Sky Sports News' wankfest with that melted candle faced prick will be in overdrive for the next 12 months.

Great.

Where did the officials find 5 minutes of injury time at the end of the 90 in the Champions League final?

Feel for Athletico Madrid

Never mind the 5 after 90 minutes, where did they find 5 minutes after the 2nd 15 minutes of extra time? :?

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

I'd guess about half of it for the various substitutions, the other half for their time-wasting, which they spent most of the second half doing.

As for the five at the end of extra time, then I'd say that was for Simeone playing the prick.

I don't feel for them that much - Yes, the timing of the equaliser was cruel, but the best side did eventually win.

Why?

They got a scrappy goal against the run of play and then sat back and did nothing for the rest of the game. Madrid probed and probed and probed, never lost faith and eventually found the breakthrough. They created more chances and had it not been for poor bale finishing it wouldn't have gone to the 94th minute.

Fully deserved win and now La Decima is theirs, something the likes of liverpool, chelsea and man united can only dream of.

That isn't what I meant Flex, my post wasn't about who deserved it more in the 90 mins but where the officials found 5 minutes of added on time, by my recollection there wasn't many injuries in the 2nd half and nobody got booked for time wasting.

The point I am making is what if the officials had a slight leaning towards the "bigger side" and added more time?, also having had the misfortune of listening to the ITV commentary team you'd have thought the result was a forgone conclusion (note the "get in" remark when Bale scored from Townsend, then the squirming reason for saying it).

Lets see if a big footballing nation gets additional "fergie time" in the World Cup.
