Spurs probably couldn't attract a 20+ goals per season player. They could get a good 'keeper, but they also need a better than average manager.

I think Redknapp is a good manager, he could become a very good manager if he treated his squad even-handedly.

Or maybe if he put some thought into his approach to transfers, or maybe a little bit of thought into tactics other than "ping it to Crouchy, knock it down to van der Vaart". People want this clown to manage England but he'll do no better than McClaren. 'Arry gets an easy ride because people love him and 'their Jamie', but he underachieved with Spurs' squad this year IMO, and his scatter-gun approach to transfers in January left his side slightly weak, which resulted in a bomb in form.

Anyone would think he gets a percentage of the transfer fee the amount of transfer deals he "negotiates" in and out of clubs...

They had one, but 'arry knows best and sold him. Unfortunately for him, Sandra hasn't lived up to her reputation.

Thing is, I heard people saying "VdV is the signing of the season from 'Arry", but when he signed, I remember 'Arry saying something along the lines of: "I got a call from Daniel Levy and he said I've got a surprise for you, do you want van der Vaart?" From the sounds of that, it was Levy, but 'Arry don't want nobody signing his players, and he's not no wheeler 'n dealer, 'cause that's Levy.

Not exactly a rosy relationship between Bolton and West Ham after the papers came out with the whole "Academy of Football", "West Ham won the World Cup" etc sheite in 2004 when a West Ham team featuring the likes of Joe Cole and David James went down instead of 'little' Bolton.
