You have to ask yourself, Dita, what is expected of Wenger by the Arsenal bosses? According to outsiders, Arsenal should be winning the league, but what if they're quite happy with him getting them to the CL K.O. stages every season? I don't think any manager in the league should be expected to win the league but Roberto Mancini. When you're the highest spenders both on transfers and wages, then you're clearly at a significant advantage over everybody else. Wenger clearly works within budgets and restraints, if he didn't, he would've been able to keep Flamini all those years ago, he would have been chucking big contracts out to players like Nasri and Clichy before they ran them down. For me, there should be more questions asked of Wenger's board and Arsenal's ownership, if they want to win the league and they want silverware, they'll have to cough up every bit of profit they get every summer, but that won't happen.

Similarly, Everton fans may be frustrated with Moyes, I can see why in ways, but maybe they're expecting too much from a manager that has consistently overachieved? Maybe Moyes' tactics are overly negative, maybe he is holding the squad back, but has he not earned the chance to maybe ride out the bad period and try to start afresh? Me personally, I've read a fair amount on Moyes and he seems a decent manager, certainly not your typical British manager, but maybe Evertonians disagree. If you look through some of his signings, there's no doubting he's done well on the budgets, maybe if they can get budgets like that again (selling Rodwell and possibly Barkley?) he can get Everton back up to the top 8? I dunno, I just think it's very hard to judge a manager who's clearly been restricted by those above him.

thought mario was reckless with the boot, but probably not aware that it was his head that was in the firing line, lescott's looked pretty blatant

Surprised no one's really talked about the incident on here. Most of my United supporting friends were up in arms about it. I'm not a City fan, but to me it looks like he lost his balance on the foot that was on the ground and was trying to bring the other foot down to stay on his feet - Parker's head just happened to be in the way. Might be just me, but I see it as a natural reaction - you're falling, so plant your other foot so you don't end up on your backside...Wouldn't surprise me if there is an appeal and I think with the video they can argue that there is a doubt about whether it was intentional.

Slow motion makes everything look a lot worse. For me, there are too many doubts to prove Mario tried to do anything. People said that the movement towards Parker "wasn't natural", but not everybody falling does things that are 'natural', especially when playing sport.

Forgot to add, it's funny seeing the FA charging Balotelli. City might have a good chance of getting the ban reduced because, after the incident, Mario was laughing and clearly not angry. Remember, this same FA appealed over Rooney's ban and were quite happy to appeal the frivolous, I wonder if this will be brought up should an appeal be made if he's banned?

I defended Adebayor when he got done. I think Balotelli's is a lot clearer and I'd find him guilty.

Reasonable doubt IMO. If he did do this deliberately then the next time a defender goes in hard on Him He cannot do the sulk thing He does.

looked pretty blatant to me tho' being a THFC fan I would say that wouldn't I ?

personally I found the elbow on Kaboul by Lescott in the Citeh box even more blatant and a straight red card !
