Not intentionally mate!! Or at least that's what I tell the missus!!

I remember seeing that Gueye against Wolves away and he looked OK.
You reckon there's any truth in the rumour linking Moyes with Villa if Houllier can't carry on?

Wouldn't be a huge shock.....Just depends how much of the £40 million Moyes is given to spend after the sales of Baines and Rodwell.

I've said it several times, but I'd have more respect for Moyes if he took on a new challenge somewhere, rather than sit in the comfort zone of mediocrity that has become Goodison Park.....Only last week he was saying how finishing 7th was like winning the Premier League for Everton.... ...........If that's what he truly believes then he needs to go somewhere with slightly more ambition.

He is potentially a very, very good manager, but if he stays at Everton I doubt we will ever really find out.

That was probably his best game actually, missed a sitter though. His worst was at Brentford in the Carling Cup but so did everyone. He looks decent so far.

I can't see it mate. I just don't see the appeal with him moving to Villa either, apart from having more money to spend I just don't get why he would really. I'd be devastated if we lost him to Villa, I don't think we'll see him remaining here for the next few years unless we get a buyer in but he should be able to do better than Villa.

Yeah but at Everton he can lie in bed at night without the tossing and turning that's brought on from the guilt of having millions to spend. Why would he give that up in exchange for anything? Why shop at Tommy Hilfiger when you can shop at T J Hughes and sleep soundly at night with a clear conscience?

It'd be a massive shock if he walked out for Villa. I believe him when he says he has absolutely no interest in the job. He's loyal to Everton. I still don't believe Baines will go, Rodwell I'm not convinced he'll stay.

Is it not more of a challenge to try and win things/reach top 4/5 with Everton's finances than it is with someone like Villa's? It depends what the challege is tbh, if it's just moving to Villa to keep them the comfort zone of mediocrity but with more money I don't see how that'd demand so much respect. When he says it's like winning the league he surely means in terms of finances and the position we were in not all that long ago.
