Brilliant Webster tonight, superb performance and fully deserved his win. had him at 5/1 for tonight and got him ew at 33/1 overall. He's been really consistent so far, scoring well and finishing brilliantly. Be a tough game against Lewis tomorrow night but I like the semi lineup and would be happy to see any of them lift the trophy.

Taylor looked nowhere near his peak tonight but played exactly the same as he has been throughout, the draw opened up for him with Wright and Laursen winning and had he played someone of Nicholson or Part's calibre earlier on he may well have been out earlier. I don't think he's dropping Paul, it's just a blip for me, he has had a few family issues leading up to this tournament and it seems to have played on his game and his mind.

And drubbed .... and dissolving in his own sweaty fat.
We'll have a new name on the trophy, and not before time.
Some people would seem to be happy for Taylor to win ad infinitum ...... why?
Give me a new winner every year and I'd be happy.

Well said, mate. My thoughts exactly, I can't understand why people want Taylor to win it year on year. Different winners of all the majors make the tournaments much more exciting and much better to watch. The top 16 is now that good we really could have many different winners over the next few years.

I enjoyed the Newton -Jenkins game more , The Anderson - Barney game didn't live up to it's hype in the end. Pretty straight forward for the scot.

That's unfair on Anderson imo, for me you should be saying 'The Anderson - Barney game didn't live up to its hype in the end because Barney didn't turn up'

Anderson's hit 10 180's, I think it was, he averaged 78 after the first set yet finished on 102 so he must've been well up in the 109, 110 area for the remainder of the match. He played his part in it, Barney didn't.

Ando and Webby to win tonight, that would be my ideal final and a cracking one at that!

Aye, shame for Webby but Lewis took his chances, Webby didn't plus he faultered on some important doubles.

Should be a great final tomorrow, 2 big scorers, but I hope Anderson slaughters Lewis. He's been the form player of the tournament so far and deserves to win.

Taylor raised the bar,now others are accepting the challenge.
Taylor owes nothing to the game,and can create his own perspiration by simply counting his money.
Wouldn`t write him off just yet.
However,I do agree a change of champion is no bad thing.
Going to be a close call,have a feeling it going to be Lewis.

Don`t know whats up with Barney,his whole body language seems as if he isn`t 100% focused.
Could be just me misreading it of course.
