I see Fabregas has indeed cracked a bone in his leg. That must have been hurting when he took the penalty? I've broken my arm a few times and you can tell when it's broken. The numbness and the dull sense of shock. He must have known that something was wrong as he took the penalty.

It's one to tell the Grandkids anyway. "I scored for Arsenal against Barcelona wth a broken leg".

Disgraceful refereeing. You're telling me a hand to the face is worse that tvatting a player from behind? Embarrassing.

Luisao's challenge was twice as worse than Shawcross' the other week on Ramsey, yet he only gets a yellow, whilst Babel gets a straight red for handing his face. Farcical.

Pretty bad challenge, the way the ref flashed the red it wasnt clear who it was for, no one would have been surprised if it was for the Benfica player

Channel 5 said he shown Luisao two yellow cards. Did you see Garcia's studs to Babel's head? He made several fouls that half yet wasn't even booked.

I know what Babel done, by the letter of the law is a red, but how didn't Luisao walk? His tackle was shocking and 9/10 if there's handbags, both players are booked, but the ref done absolutely nothing.

Possibly the worst refereeing performance I've ever seen. It's worrying that this fella is allowed to ref such a game. I'd investigate as to whether he'd been paid off, he's been oblivious to their antics all night whilst he's clamped right down on the slightest thing we do. Unbelievable.

SL was much better but had both on so watched the goals etc

conceding 2 penalties, a goal disallowed and a red card away from home in europe, just like the old days
