I think at club level he looks as good a striker in that mould as England have, along with Defoe as you say. Defoe, however, has scored 6 in 32 for England (to put into context, that's less goals in more games than Peter Crouch). Now I'm a fan of Defoe, don't get me wrong, I just feel that it's only fair to give Agbonlahor a run of games to see if he can transfer his ability to the international game more succesfully.
