While we are on punditry, how the feck is Jamie Redknapp a pundit? A nothing footballer and a nothing pundit. Only on TV because he off-sets Richard Keys' hairy hands.

Is the game so short on intelect or is it that these type of people match the sensationalist requirements that the tabloids and Sky/Setanta need.

The best pundits for me are the ones that aren't on as often (with the exception of McManaman who I think is pretty good) - Souness is always sound and knowledgeable and David Platt also knows what he's on about.

I full agree r.e Souness, I actually think Jamie Carragher did a good job at the Man United v Chelsea game.

your extremely profound statement about him being a nothing footballer is about as ridiculous as saying ronaldo doesn't dive....................

the lads career was wrecked by injury but he still proved to be an international quality mid fielder.

I like seeing him on TV because it prompts me to think about his wife.

Amazingly, Robbie Savage is pretty damn good as a pundit. Jimmy Armfield still pisses on them all though.
