Liverpool fans take their European Cup record a lot more seriously than their league titles so it isn't suprising. If United go one behind in European Cups than Liverpool fans will really start panicking, as at the moment United are more likely to win a fourth and fifth before Liverpool win a sixth.

Not at all it's because it's the only thing they have to cling onto, they've known for years that United would evetually take them over in terms of league titles, plus they are just so bitter towards United.
