We've had a friendly today against Atletico, we got beat 2-1. We played very well but we lost Carra early on to injury, which meant we were playing two teenagers in defence for the majority of the game. Hopefully Carra and Agger will be fit for Spurs on Sunday, otherwise we're fooked.

Looks like City will have a good start to the season next week as Rovers finished pre season losing 2-0 to Dundee Utd with Nelsen and Samba picking up injuries.I usually don't read much into pre season but this year Rovers have been awful in nearly every game.

Apparent news that Espanyol defender, Daniel Jarque, has been found dead in his hotel room. Not sure what the cause of death was, but what a shame, he played against us just weeks ago.

First Puerta, then de la Red fainted last year and is out all of this year, now Daniel Jarque.

Such a shame, he was close to moving to Spurs a few seasons back as well, I think.

Everton apparently turned down a bid of £8m for Louis Saha from Besiktas, Now i don't know if it's just me but £8m for an 31 year old Injury Prone striker sounds great value for Everton...
Hull City are continuing there battle to find a striker who's not going to score them goals this time linked with £4m bid for David Nugent...
