Are you sure? they are only making them about teams that have never won a super bowl !!

Sure I read it somewhere unless it was a crap rumour or sort of "if they were to make..."

If it's for teams that don't win couldn't they make 4 for the Bills and a few for the Colts?

The Colts have won 2 super bowls

I think it's an interesting point that only that many have done that (and Eli deservedly gets the respect for it (even though i don't like him)), but i'd rather have my QB win it in the other 58 minutes rather than leave it for the last 2.

The America's Games episodes are excellent. However i have no sympathy for the Rams. It's your own fault for not building a good core of young players ready to take over when the older guys retire. Thankfully that is something i think Ted Thompson does well for us and he usually takes players that won't strart straight away but eventually repalce veteran starters a year or two later. Eg. Aaron Rodgers to replace Favre. Jordy Nelson/James Jones to replace Donald Driver (eventually), TJ Lang to replace Chad Clifton. BJ Raji as the long term NT etc.


Also i'm conviced you guys don't actually want a QB ever:

Chris Long (poor) when you could have had Matt Ryan
Jason Smith when you could have had Mark Sanchez
Adam Carriker (poor) when you could have had Brady Quinn (admittedly he hasn't panned out fully)

When you neglect the most important position in the NFL (financially and in playing terms) every year and have nobody to build around you deserve to be bad.

Antonio Pierce has been released. It just strengthens rumors that were going to go after Rolando McClain in the draft. The entire LB coprs needs changing in my opinion. Weve had a great tradition over the past 85 years of having great linebackers from Huff in the 50's to the crunch bunch(Kelley,Van Pelt, Carson, Taylor) in the 70's and early 80's then we added Reasons and Carl Banks in the mid 80's. Any decent LB's knocking about in free agency?

I don't know what games you've been watching Conroy but Chris Long is most certainly not poor. He was one of our best players on defense last season along with Lauranaitis. He had two men blocking him in many of the games and he is very good against the run.

Smith has only played for 1 year so you can't judge him yet, especially given his lack of game time and Carriker could still come good and again has had injuries but showed promise in his play on the field at times.

Yes we need a QB but we'd still be one piece short somewhere else if we hadn't drafted one of those guys. The QB's listed have far from stamped their authority as franchise guys yet anyway. Ryan suffered from a second season slump with Atlanta and Sanchez led a team with a dominant defense and had a very good running game to the playoffs. You can bet that they would have had little success as well so far, had we drafted them.
