You're right, Utd are the only team whose players do that. And Ferdinand was in front of the Utd fans when he got pelted was he not?

Rooney was pelted with coins when taking a corner in the 2nd half. What is your solution for this?

Quite funny seeing the Manchester United fans on Facebook taking the moral high ground on the coin throwing calling Manchester City fans scum, whilst obviously completely forgetting about the incident back in January 2010 in the Carling Cup semi final against the same team.

You have got 2 strikers. The fact that one of them is utterly rubbish (And expensive with it) and there are no more is partly Rodgers' fault.

You are also only 9 points off relegation and could be in for a torrid time in January if any of the big clubs show an interest in Luis Suarez or Raheem Sterling.

Being 10th, level on points with West Ham and Norwich and behind West Brom and Stoke isn't that great for a club that has spent £241m in the last 5 years on players. But I agree, Rodgers seems a decent manager.

Absolute dross. We should be level on points with your lot given we had a fair goal disallowed.

What make you think they'll go? You do know Luis signed a new 5'year deal in September, dont you? We have 1 fit striker, not 2.

All artists are willing to suffer for their art. So few are willing to
learn to draw.

I thought neither of the Manchester sides looked very impressive today. The Premier League's a bit poor in terms of quality at the top this season. Although it'll probably make for some excitement/drama.

They aren't the only ones who do it, but they are the leading proponents of it.

Only seen a clip of it from youtube, but it seemed that while it was in front of the United supporters, the players also went down to the end of their support so that they'd be right next to the Citeh supporters too.

Rooney was pelted with coins when taking a corner in the 2nd half. What is your solution for this?

To identify the culprits, arrest them, take them to court, ban them from football grounds for life.

But seeing as players know there will always be total idiots in the crowd who will be pushed over the edge into throwing coins, they shouldn't be inciting them. For the first two goals Rooney clearly went towards the Citeh fans.

Dealing with the coin throwing idiots is part of the job for stewards and cops. But they shouldn't have to deal with protecting stupid players who want to rub it in the faces of fans after they score. If Rooney wants to slide on his knees towards Citeh fans then the stewards should step aside if a few Citeh fans want to show him how stupid he's being.

I agree
Not a classic united team, but (still) a decent midfielder or two away from a very good one
City haven't fired yet this season
Not a vintage Chelsea team seemingly, perpetuated by the managerial revolving door
Arsenal are Arsenal, perpetual underachievers
Spurs have a tendency to flatter to deceive
Probably only Everton exceeding expectations i'd guess?

You should be above us, not behind us given how much you've spent.

I'm not saying they will go, but a lot of players move after they get new deals. It's often a settlement between the club and player. The club agrees the player can go, provided they sign a big deal and ensure the club gets a lot of money. I'm pretty sure that Fellaini's last deal at Everton was like that too.

At the end of the day if Real, PSG, Chelsea or City come calling with £30m+, it'll be hard to turn them down.

Rio was also struck by a drugs testing kit but somehow managed to avoid it.
