As I keep saying, you cant put it all on him. The receivers we have are really struggling to make any separation at all and when they do get open they deflect the pass into the defenders arms... or it feels like that anyway. It's the penalties that kill the team. Ill set the situation. 17-13 up on and 1st and 10 on the 23. 2 plays later its 1st and 25 on the 48. Greg Olsen calls screen play... its a loss of 2 yards. Next plays a pass right into Benn's hands which he somehow manages totip into the air and its nearly intercepted. 3rd and 27 right.... what do you do? Olsen calls up a draw play for a gain of 2. Punt! From being in a position to go 7 up with 8 left we give the ball up and they go down field and score whats the game winning TD.
In that last drive on 3rd down we got past where the marker was too and all of a sudden they move the marker half a yard past where the ball is and at ends up being 4th and inches when the line judge clearly came on the 1st down side of it. Confusion came with just 30 seconds left and no one knew what was going on. Im still confused about what happened there.
