Very true the loss of Alan Hutton IMO will have a big effect on Rangers, personally i'm very happy with the signing of Georgios Samaras i think he is just what we are missing upfront because we can't keep relaying on Scott McDonald to get the goals.
Celtic have reportedly offered Burnley £2.5million plus Derek Riordan in exchange for Kyle Lafferty.

No it doesn't. It merely shows that, like most people, Smith and Murray realise that £9 million is massively over the top for Hutton and they were delighted to get the money for it as it can be better spent elsewhere. Rangers were more than keen to push the deal through as they are aware that Tottingham have been well stung.

I would have thought that hawking your overpaid diddies (Gravesen, Balde etc) to anyone stupid enough to pay their wages and having to pick up free transfers from a fifth rate Asian league and rely on loan deals for Man City flops was more indicative of skintness.
