You know what, I agree to an extent. None of us know, I think the commision did a pretty thorough job mind but at the end of the day, it's two people who know the 'truth'.

I just think Kenny & Suarez must have had chats this week ref handshakes, the United game, the whole thing like and if he'd have said 'Gaffer, I'm not shaking his hand on Saturday, I can't stand him blah blah ..' then I'm sure Kenny would have given him the facts and made him aware that people will feel he's making the situation worse etc, but had he been adamant then LFC could have contacted the FA and when Kenny had his media shizzle, he'd have told us that Luis isn't going to shake hands, still feels wronged etc, the world can think what they want but Luis feels very strongly yada yada ..

For somebody like yourself, that really is one hell of a sweep. I won't even go into it, but, for me, saying a term that can be found racist doesn't instantly make you racist, especially when you have 'linguistic experts' on your side saying what you admit to saying isn't racist. Maybe you know better though and you should be given the stick to judge people with?

Exactly. Only them two know what went on. Some people on here though are embarrassing. I agree shaking hands would of drawn a line underneath it, but like Rob said, would you shake the hand of somebody you BELIEVE to be a flase accuser and has just wrongly (from Suarez' POV) accused you of being racist?

I concede the term is too strong, but you cannot get away from the Suarez's own statement that he called Evra 'negro', a word Evra found offensive.
