I was actually talking about Sid.He helped to get darts off the ground on the telly with The Indoor League,as far as I am aware, although you seem to think that it was on earlier, wont argue with that, but no doubt you can put me right as you seem to be the font of all knowledge as far as darts is concerned.
Get over yourself, I've never said or tried to be the font of all knowledge. Darts was on TV before Indoor League, that's a fact. Yes it had only just begun but it was on already - World Championship had already begun by then and was shown on ITV. He did help raise the profile of darts and still does, that's not in question.

Whether or not you like Waddell or Taylor, they have both helped to bring darts to where it is today.
I like Waddell, he's great for darts and his commentary is so unique it's great we have him in darts I just don't like when he commentates on Taylor. I like watching Phil Taylor too, when he's playing at his best it's a joy to watch, I just think he's a bit of a kn0b off stage, his interview's are so patronising and Dave Clark is so far up his ar$e it's untrue but he's the best player there will ever be so you can see where they come from but now we've got the best group of darts players ever and will regularly challenge Taylor and it seems SKY especially Clark need to mention him everytime they speak.

And Ollie Croft shot himself in the foot and Hearn rode the gravy train.
Agreed.

Oh and I know there was darts before Taylor,I might be getting on a bit but I remember watching Jocky,Bristow,Low, Rees etc on the t.v. so less of the sarcasm if you don`t mind.
There was no sarcasim in my post. I never questioned that you didn't know there was darts before Taylor, either so I've no idea what you are on about.
