Ronaldo is class – simple as. Some of what he does is just poetry.
But then he has the ability to really make you laugh at him – as in the derby at Old Trafford the season before this one just gone, when he was petulantly glaring at the pitch and then at the skies: blaming everything for having a poor day at the office.
"Class" ... now Cantona reeked of it. Not only one of the best players I've had the pleasure of seeing, but also one that I always liked immensely, not least because of his attitude, his completely surreal comments etc. The "sardines" comment remains brilliant. Eric had class and style. God, I even tried to get a "Wanted for treason against king Eric" t-shirt after he drop-kicked that nasty little fascist git at Selhurst Park.
