I'd be more confident if Spencer wasn't on it personally, but we'll see. Might back it for interest as you do seem in good form (as much as it pains me to say it)

Is March On Beetroot going to win today then?

No it didn't. Was going to back it but fortunately my account failed to place the bet. Was also going to do double with Sir Geoffrey. May still try and get on SG if my account gets back up and running properly

Well March On Beetroot lost.....To some its all about the result did it win ? Yes :D Woppeee.. Did it lose? Oh thats horse is a dog.

With the info I had put up, and that I know... the race was run at a too slow a pace as this horse needs a mile already he has the speed to keep up with some over 5fl and he was travelling the best without a doubt throughout the race.. Now i'm not a big Spencer fan at all.. but he did the right thing and tried to make use of stamina by making the running over 2fl out he strode clear... the winner had a relatively easy race with tracking the leaders. So botti's horse came through the slip stream and nicked it with a bit more pace i.e. it turned into a sprint...

Now i'm severely disappointed cos I lost a fair bit... though I do recognise the ability the horse possess and hopefully you can see pass the loss and recognise MOB has ability, anyway what's devastating is that we would have won that race the other day and I was on from 4/1 down with a few ton on it.

So yes we've lost money... but it had ability; deserved the build up; and we were just unfortunate that the race wasn't run to suit..

Sorry to those that followed....

Aftertime but had Angel's Pursuit @ 14/1 my 3 others went down though.

Got a cheeky £2 @ 27/1 on no racing at Exeter tomorrow after seeing the footy there was off and temps won't be too high next 48 hours.

No probs rob-a didnt come across like thats just felt I had to kinda justify the build up and result; it might look like excuses but that's how I feel and how the race went !

Horses aint machines and you always have to take a risk when its a racecourse debut.

Hopefully Exeter goes ahead am sick of AW.

Mizzurka is around 8/1 at moment that would be decent E/W based on its bumper form winning 3 of them the best being a Class 1 the 2nd in that Risaala has boosted it with two good hurdles runs, Mizzurka was well backed at Aintree when last seen but seem to be something a miss and pulled up.

Sanctuaire @ 10/11 looks very good in the 2nd race even with carrying a stone plus over the other 3.

Tarablaze is around 5/2 in the novice chase well backed last time in a good race which was its first go over fences and first run in 634 days, gets 5lbs from the hot Nicholls fav.

Marathon Chases at Exeter mean only one thing:

13:50 Exeter
Teeming Rain was a useful performer in Ireland in his youth where his victories included a Novices Graded Hurdle back in the 2004/5 season and although largely in and out since his two most recent victories have come in the Devon National over this course, on both occasions accounting for Present M'Lord with stable conditional Richie McLernon on board. He looks worth a bet on a course that he loves off just 8lbs higher than when last successful in March. His stablemate Ayemdee is a young, improving horse who was running a good race over the course until unseating his rider when a staying on third behind Newbay Bob. He'd won his three previous handicap chases and has since made his seasonal reappearance at Uttoxeter when appearing to blow up under the stables amateur jockey Ayemdee.

Teeming Rain - 2pts Win @ 13/2 (General)
Ayemdee - 2pts Win, 1pt Place @ 11/1 (General)

90% chance of rain for the next 2 days in Adelaide for the Cricket.

Forecast goes on to say as much as 3 inches may fall on Tuesday so a draw looks a good bet.
