Great bit of business for Liverpool. I think with Henderson you also have to take age into account and the ability to realise his potential at England's second most succesful club. May rule them out of the Charlie Adam race though. I see United signing him to be honest. I agree r.e Ashley Young price, still a young lad who you can years out of though.

No offence but if he was that good, he'd be playing at that level already. He's 24 years old and his career so far has taken in the sights of Anderlecht, Roda JC, Twente and Newcastle United.

He would walk into the starting XIs of Liverpool and Arsenal. Maybe Spurs too, that would depend on the formation they want to play though as Sandro's looked quality towards the back end of the season and I doubt they'd want to shift him.

Can't make a comment on Tiote, as I wouldn't know who he was if I tripped over him, but I'd offer the name of Didier Drogba as proof that a player can be of a far higher quality than their early career suggests.

Centre back according to a Rovers fan I work with. Said he has it physically to play both, but will definitely be a defender.

Just wondering; why is Fergie signing another defender? It probably ends Jonny Evans' career at United, but with Smalling, Rio and Vidic, do they really need to invest £15m or so on a defender? I still think United need a midfielder or two, and, if Berba is to leave, a replacement for him. Have they announced de Gea yet?
