Kempton 3.20

Thunderstruck 20/1 E/W and around 7/1 place

Poor when last seen in May and June but now with Dandy Nicholls who can get them winning, got very good record on AW only out of the places 3 times out of 13 races (placed 3 out of 4 at Kempton) plus with the claimer on its back down to its last winning mark of 80 but has run to RPR of 92 & 94 off 86 in March this year.

Like the look of Gauvain in the Tingle Creek, Twist Magic was impressive under that weight last time but hates it round here, Master Minded was awesome last time out but was at Newbury before Cheltenham and is short as you would expect, Gauvain is with new yard and should improve for that winning run round Cheltenham its 7/1 at the moment but Hugh Taylor tipped it last time out and for the 2011 Champion Chase I reckon he will tip it up again if he hasn't already.

Hong Kong International Sprint
Let Me Fight - Ex-UK runner who's done well since switching to Hong Kong at the turn of the year - raced over here under the name Lucky Rave and has joined top local trainer John Moore (trainer of Collection and co). Was ridden by Brett Doyle last time out when a fast finishing 2 3/4 lengths seventh to Singapore star Rocket Man in the main trial for this over CD on the 21st November but prior to that hadn't been out of the placings in six HK starts in class 1-3 handicaps including two defeats by a nose and two by a short head. Normally a good finisher he's versatile in terms of trip and is used to the track - regular jockey Darren Beadman gets off One World (runner-up in this last year and as short as 8/1 in places but an injury doubt) to ride Let Me Fight and I expect a very big run from a horse who the trainer thinks will be one of the top sprinter/milers in HK in 2011.

Whats the answer to the International Hurdle tomorrow then? Cue Card, Silvianico or Menorah? Should be a race to remember that's for sure.

Cheltenham 1.50 Duke Of Lucca 12/1 E/W and 11/5 place

Top weighted here but was a very good novice last season with close finishes behind Reve De Sivola and Peddlers Cross, back to form last time with a solid run behind Big Bucks in first try at 3 miles.

Silviniaco Conti for me at the prices really looking forward to it Cue Card have to most to prove out of the 3 but it could be anything, I have Cue Card for the Champion at 100/1 and 20/1 E/W small bets to cover me if it doesn't go in the Novice also backed it 9/1 NRNB as if it really is that good it will win this and Tizzard will go the Champion route IMO followed by 6/1 prices for the big one in March.

Think I'll give it a watching brief but if there is any changes in price I may get invovled. Get the feeling Menorah will drift tomorrow.

If it does mate back it with Stanjames think they will be best price anywhere between 11 and 12 tomorrow.

Spirit River jumped awesome last time out before the one mistake which cost it dear, hope it romps home as I am on it at big odds in few races for March.

Reve De Sivola @ 4/1 could be a big danger though suppose to of come on for that run round here, Nick Williams talked it up as a chaser along with Diamond Harry few months back an Harry has since won the Hennessy

Patman Du Charmil @ 10/1 E/W in the 1.40

Ran well until finding nothing more over 3 miles last time out, led until 2 last but it was its first run in over a year so could of needed it, was 6th behind Poquelin when last here that was off 125 with the claim today it runs off 114.
