I see being picked based on your club even goes down to the Under 21s. Muamba and Rodwell left out for the frankly weak combination of Cleverley and Henderson.

Randy Lerner is the owner of one of the bizarrest(I may have just invented a word there?) run NFL teams,who at one point had a rich history of winning titles/trophies (although a very,very............veeeeeery long time ago) he hires and fires no-name coaches who have never won anything of note and sign crap players and expects them to polish a turd, I'd say McLeish is perfect for Aston Villa

When you put it like that mate it seems perfectly viable for Villa to appoint McLeish then

I don't think we've seen much of Lerner to judge him over here, we rarely see him or see him make big decions at the club, he seems a very much behind the scences man. Maybe this is the start of Lerner making a name for himself.
