I don't quite get this??.....Is he really that good that he could demand European football and somebody would come in for him?

I sometimes think some of these players are a bit deluded to their own worth or talents.....Yes, he's good, but it smacks of arrogance that he thinks he could walk out on a big club like Liverpool in order to seek supposedly better football....

Bizzare that Villa dropped their interest in McLaren because of opposition by the fans, but then went for a manager who was obviously going to be an even more unpopular choice
