Workington at 5/2 are too big to beat Alfreton.

It's a nightmare journey from Derbyshire to Workington in mid week and if they can lose to Redditch they can definitely lose to the Cumbrians despite form suggesting an away win.

Going to Solihull Moors v Ilkeston Town tomorrow and the way Town are playing I expect nothing less than an away win and at 6/4 it's not over generous but looks likely none the less. Ilkeston's defence was a worry early season but 3 clean sheets on the trot should have sorted that and their main striker (Gary Ricketts) will be back after missing Saturday through suspension.

The other non league side I watch Tamworth can win at Chester if they play like they did on Saturday v AFC Wimbledon. Not won away yet this season which is a slight worry but the bigger the name the better they seem to play so at 21/10 to take another ex-league side scalp looks ok to me. Could well be under 1,000 there which will play into Tamworth's hands too.

Swings and roundabouts which bookie to do the treble with but I think Blue Square just edge it with a 23.5/1 return if my thoughts are correct.



On Wednesday Hinckley are massive at 100/30 to beat Corby.

Barrow-York City draw anybody?
In Blue Square South Braintree Town and Dorchester Town look somewhat overpriced too.
Like the look of Vauxhall Motors in Blue Square North while I'm at it.

France are a shocking price to be honest with you. No reason why they should even be favourites the way they are playing at the moment.

Vauxhall draw alot so can't go OTT about their hopes (they play at Ilkeston Saturday so will find out more about them by watching them then). Then again Blyth to Cheshire is not a nice trip in midweek either so on my thinking to oppose Alfreton it works for that match too.

Like your thinking on Barrow as teams that get a stuffing usually shore up next game and could well end up a draw.

Conference South have not got a clue about.....though I hope Newport stay top and win it!!!!

I'm going to go for Rooney & 3-1 against Croatia @ 35/1.

Some interesting bets are:

Terry 7/1 to score anytime
Johnson 9/1
Upson 12/1.

Johnson has scored a few this year already and Upson & Terry looked great against Slovenia when in the opponents box.
