I apologise, I figured you were baiting (and even if it was discussed i doubt it was in the terms you posted it!).
Anyway the only reason it's even a discussion is because A) we've lost a game. B) Rodgers has dipped slightly the last few weeks. C) Breesus has been incredible the last few weeks. It the old "what have you done for me lately" addage. If you take the course of the whole season it is clearly Rodgers (and I'm a big Brees fan). I do expect him to get votes- as its out of 50 maybe a split of 25, 15, 10 for Rodgers/Brees/Brady?
Brees throws more than Rodgers (122 more attempts). He obviously has the yards and a slightly higher completion percentage 70.7 to Rodgers 68.3. Yet Rodgers has a better average yardage per pass, more TD's (45 to 41), less INT's (6 to 13) and is the all time leader for passer rating (both regular and post season) with his percentage being 122.5 this year.
Not to mention Brees has played 11 dome games (Rodgers has played 3) and having a significantly worse offensive line to Brees/Brady.
Rodgers by plenty!
Oh, the stats are from last week. I'm not 100 sure how Brees did today stat wise and obviously Rodgers didn't play.
Wish I'd picked him up in fantasy land!
