Im 2nd in fantasy after week 1

I had 112 points going into Sunday too with Turner, Cruz and the Steelers D still to play. Who would have thought those 3 would have netted me a grand total of 4 points

That article is laughable but most of the whining I've seen this season has been from other clubs fans ABOUT Tebow, considering he's a fairly mild mannered fellow he doesn't half attract some hate.

On some other forums I look at, before the season everything was about how the rest of the AFC West would LOL at Denver for cutting Orton which guaranteed they would finish bottom of the division because they didn't have a quarterback on the roster. Then after winning a few games it was always 'Tebow will get found out before long' and so they've all been loving the last few weeks when the Broncos have been losing.

Now the haters are being quiet for a week but they are just waiting and hoping for Tom Brady to outplay him so they can say see we told you, Tebow is the worst QB in the NFL....Denver are finished as a franchise, etc.

I like Tebow and was positive to him being drafted in the first place when there were a lot of doubters and the signs so far look good but the jury is still out on him till he's had a couple of good seasons. In the post Elway era there have been a couple of Denver QBs that we thought were the real deal: Griese in 2000 and Cutler in 2006 had big years and then faded.

Even though he's still wildly inconsistant throwing the ball, I'd still rather have Tebow than Mark Sanchez who is utterly terrible and has regressed instead of progressing. Tebow on the other hand showed some improvement in passing the ball, he's getting more velocity and a better spiral on his passes and he even anticipated a route at one point and put the ball in a perfect spot, where as a few weeks ago he wouldn't have made that pass.

The main problem the Steelers had was that LeBeau and his scheme just didn't respect Tebow as a passer, they had 9 men in the box almost every down and dared him to pass - which he did, New England will not give him that chance, Thomas will be double covered by probably 2 corners (McCourty will probably stay at FS). On top of that based on the game at Mile High they will probably run a 3-4 too which is the alignment they used to slow down Denver's run game and forced the fumbles in.

It should be a really good game, it's a shame they've put it on at prime time though because that means staying up until 4am or later/earlier (depending on how you look at it).

Tebow is brilliant to watch. However I do believe he will be found out badly next season. Give teams a full off season and a seasons worth of pro game footage to study and they will shutdown a QB that while entertaining isn't brilliant.

Teams already found ways to slow him down, the Chiefs game being a prime example.

All you need to do as a player is do your job, keep your gap integrity - this is where a 2 gap 3-4 comes into it, if you have 3 310lbs+ blokes 2 gapping effectivly, you take away the dive now the pressure is on the OLB's to seal the edge meaning the outside run is gone too if they seal the edge - now you have Tebow trapped in the pocket forcing him to pass, even decent coverage means you're going to get interceptions/sacks/fumbles in this case...and that's pretty much how the Chiefs did it too.

Basically the same way teams used to defend against Michael Vick, pre-suspension.

There's a lot of parallels to be drawn between Tebow and Vick's respective skill sets coming out of college. I can see no reason why - if he's prepared to work hard on the deficiencies in his game - Tebow can't go on to have a decent career as a starting NFL QB.
