Heard about that, read a piece on it online somewhere. I watched the game on Paddy Power, stream was really good and they showed plenty of the River fans the mix between tears and pure anger was clear. I wouldn't want to be hanging around the stadium now.

Yep been following it, the amount of nutters at some Argentinian clubs (and the influence they have) is unbelievable, I enjoyed all the football I went to in Argentina last year and the atmosphere was always superb, but I'd be very wary of going to a big game there.

Tragic is a bit over the top but he and Balagué do work really well together. Hunter on the other hand is too far up his own backside and can't go more than ten seconds without name dropping.

Downing will cost more than Young because he hasn't only got a year left on his contract. I do also think Downing is pretty underrated, I don't know if there are any Villa fans on here but they the couple I know say he's good every week, whereas Young can often go missing but tends to come up with the more MoTD moments.

As for anyone thinking Liverpool at overpaying for Charlie Adam (@ £10mil), a 25 yr old who was one of 6 nominations for the players player of the year, club captain and one who will only get better when he isn't carrying a team. Sounds like a bargain to me.

CA deal has been agreed in principal with B'Pool, current delay is that Jonjo Shelvey was part of the deal (loan) but Ipswich say they want him as part of the Wickham deal.
