Great result for the Packers. If we get past the Giants I think we can take the 49ers- they thrived on turnovers today and we don't make them. Plus it'd be a chance for a little retribution for Godgers.
What a game! I wouldn't be so sure about playing the 49ers. It's okay saying we thrived on turnovers but it's because we cause them. It's one thing not being a team which turns the ball over e.g. Brees two interceptions in postseason play, but it's another when you've got a defense that puts the pressure on and forces plays. We'll see how well the Packers do against the Giants DL tonight (can't wait for that game) and that will give us an indication because IMO the 49ers front seven is the best in the league and our DBs have excelled at times this year too. If we can apply the pressure on the OL then it can take a vital second here and there off Rodgers' passing time.
I'm not saying we're favourites because we're not, however this is play off football when a great defense can take you all the way. Whatever the case it should be a belter whoever gets through tonight.
Man this is exciting. Whoever tells you that magnificent sports like this and RL should be decided on a round robin league format has no idea what they're talking about. The drama from some of these games is incredible. Why wouldn't you want that from your sport? As it said in
Moneyball a team's goal every year should be to win the last game of the season and how great is it to do that? Epic stuff and here's to more tonight. Good luck to all and I hope the games do the teams justice.
