I thought your post was actually going to be ok until i read that.

The only real positive for Shearer coming in was PR for Ashley, turning to one of the 2 people that would be able to get that kind of response from Newcastle fans.

Wise stuck his nose in when Keegan was manager, and brought in some overpriced, over-rated individuals.

It's no suprise that Shearer didn't want Wise sticking his nose in, in the same manner it made Keegan's job as manager, impossible.

Next week is a huge week with Hull playing what is IMO their most winnable of their remaining games and Newcastle playing Boro. If Hull were to win it really would be curtains for whoever loses the Newcastle-Boro game.

I want to win it against Arsenal, it might start going some way towards repairing the damage caused when Wiltord won it for them at Old Trafford a few years back.

Quite surprised at all of the stuff about ourselves and Hull on here, yet no mention of the mackems. They are by no means out of it. They're worse than us and that's saying something!
