Great stuff Mwildcats - had a word for this myself so looks like he was pretty popular despite Ted being up and a strong favourite in the race.

Gitano Hernando well worth a bet tomorrow in the 10f conditions stakes. Twice Over has a poor wins/runs record for a horse of his ability and Gitano was narrowly beaten in the Dee Stakes at Chester as his potential Derby trial. He was injured in the build up to the Belmont Stakes after which he was due to stay in the US - Team Valor have kept him in the UK for the time being which is unusual, he'll stay every yard of the trip which isn't something you can say about Twice Over and there's the bounce factor with Serva Jugum who ran under two weeks ago on his first start in a year. The remainder look poor/slow - Chock A Block was bitterly disappointing at Goodwood but on his form last season in France would have an outside shot whilst Kings Gambit will need very soft ground for his stamina to come into play.

The current 4/1 with Paddy Power about Gitano Hernando is well worth taking particularly with Botti booking Fallon for the ride.

Close but no cigar

Alfreton equalised late on and according to their forum their keeper made a great save to hold on for a draw....GUTTED!!!!

Ilkeston totally outclased a very poor Solihull side (feel free to oppose them and Redditch week in and week out as they are both dire) and Tamworth won too so a case of what might have been and now gotta hope I pick up the scraps with Hinckley at least copping for a 30/1 treble if they win tomorrow.


At least the 2 Ilkeston players I have bigged up on here got the goals between

Yep and at least what I have seen with my own eyes was correct as not seen Workington or Alfreton play this season yet but we will get the 4 out of 4 one day



Still the free season tickets I got off Blue Square for both Tamworth and Ilkeston are being put to good use in my research

Early look at Saturday

Blyth (6/5) and Harrogate (4/5) (SkyBet) looks a bet to get involved in if my theory that Solihull and Redditch are totally useless holds true.....might even get better once the other bookies price them up.

Infact I would say 6/5 Blyth is one of the best singles you will see in a fair while as Solihull look a team that has lost all confidence and a long trip North is not what they want after tonight.

Ilkeston at 25/1 outright is of some appeal too as long as they hold onto Sam Duncum.

Still the free season tickets I got off Blue Square for both Tamworth and Ilkeston are being put to good use in my research I also notice Tamwoth are in the play off zone in the BS Prem and Ilkeston one place out of it in the North. Am I a lucky charm or what????
