The Mighty Celts Are On Course For A Third Straight SPL Title :D

AC MILAN last night confirmed they could make a move for Artur Boruc in the summer - even if Celtic put a whopping £10million price tag on his head.
It would be a Blow to lose Artur but £10 Million is alot of money for a Goalkeeper and we could easily find a suitable replacement possibly Mark Schwarzer on a Free aswell as strengthening other areas of the team.

I always said that if Celtic won all their remaining six games (at a time when Rangers were potentially ten in front) then they would win it, because they heavy load of fixtures would catch up with Rangers.

Barring a mathematical miracle, that would now be the case if Celtic were to win that last one of the six.

From a position where I was bizarrely confident despite all logic saying I shouldn't be, now the noses are in front, confidence has been evaporated due to the truly despondent fear of a repeat of Motherwell in 2005.

Whereas Celtic losing the league before would hardly of been an issue, now it would be another horrible day like Fir Park if it all went wrong and Tannadice is not an easy place to go.

I will be hiding away in Manchester Academy on Thursday. I just can't watch it!

Good call D.D.!

TBH, I have been thinking of such a scenario, especially after "McCurrygate" at Ibrox the other week, and if it was not for the fact that we could potentially end up 6th at the end of the season should we lose, that I reckon we would have been quite happy to try less than 100%!

But 6th would be harsh on us as we have done well this year so that scenario is not at all likely.

Not that it matters TBH as our record v the Green side of the Old Firm is absolutely appalling and Celtic WILL beat Dundee United IMO. Hell, the last time we beat Celtic, I reckon the game could only be found on CineFilm in black and white!

Let's hope the Buddies save everyone a stressful evening although there would be about as much chance of Rangers dropping points there as at Gretna I feel.

It's interesting, in the last seven years, Celtic have won it five times, all by massive margins. The two that have gone to the last day, on one Rangers outscored Celtic to pip them, on the other Celtic blew it in the last couple of minutes. Last day track records are not good.

In reality, given a bit of luck, we could have been talking about eight in a row on Thursday. Maybe should have been.

The ideal scenario is that the Buddies win tonight, then Celtic chuck it against United so we can clinch 4th in the table! :D

I'm hoping Dundee United do the business against Celtic and Rangers do Aberdeen. :D

I only wish it was Hearts up there though instead of where they currently are. :x
