Head Of The Posse was staying well last time before the mistake so I reckon the step up would be fine but you would know better then me
McCoy onboard is a big plus for me aswell.
Bits of money for Mossey Joe already massive step up in company but hard not to back something so impressive on its first time under rules against some very good horses and has every right to improve again for it, glad Austin is letting it go over hurdles for hopefully the rest of the season, I know its 7yo but feel often theres a rush to get them over fences.
I wouldn't worry about Joe going over fences just yet - he's won over them already at Tipp last back end so they know he can jump them, Araucaria didn't run her race and I doubt Askanna did either LTO but he didn't come off the bridle to beat them.
Austin was talking Irish National for him after that but I'd imagine that's been shelved now (or will be should he go in tomorrow) - there's not much strength in depth in the staying hurdle division tbh particularly in Ireland though having Fiveforthree back should help that whenever they run him and Mourad does set a decent standard in this.
So Young vs. Harpsy Chord looks a cracking clash in the opener at Leopardstown too - So Young from the same source as Sweet My Lord in France whilst Harpsy Chord was the impressive winner of a 4yo Maiden at Dromahane and was subsequently bought for a hefty sum by Alan Potts of Sizing Europe fame.
