Yet you won't acknowledge how much more human Brady looks since the Patriots were caught cheating? What was it, 13-0 in the playoffs pre-spygate. 7-6 since. Just a mere coincidence I assume?

What does that make Brees? He threw for more yards than Brady this season with a group of receivers who, outside of Colston, aren't elite. In his 50 TD season Brady had Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Last time I checked those 2 were pretty useful.

Brady is good. Very good. But he's nowhere near somebody like Montana in my opinion.

It's all opinion. You find me x amount of people who think he's top 3 and I'll find x number of people who wouldn't put him top 3, etc. Donovan McNabb is hardly an authority on who the best QB ever to play the game is.

Tewbowing is out and "Bradying" is in!

On Brady he is and has been a brilliant QB. I don't think he is the best ever but he should certainly be in the conversation up near the top. You do have to question though the drop from pre to post Spygate.

His 4 best statistical seasons you mean? Including most TD's ever and least picks in a season.

The post-season losses are more to do with teams becoming more talented and the Patriots turning into the Colts, what was once an all round team is now too Brady-centric which the Giants, Ravens and Jets all exploited.

Brady has two great tight end's to throw to, a great WR in Welker so don't give me the "he has nobody to throw to bollox". Also had a decent WR in Chad Ochocinco, I know he struggled with the playbook.

The homecoming was brilliant.Somebody needs to tell the Brady bunch the idea is to have them after you win, not before.

1 TE who played on 1 leg
1 TE who bottles it (2 drops in OT against the Ravens his rookie year, drops on Sunday)
1 Slot receiver

Then there's Branch who can't beat press coverage and Ochocinco who doesn't know the playbook after a year.

Bring in someone like Brandon Lloyd & Eddie Royal then he will have the help he needs, oh and if McDaniels doesn't forget there's 4 good running backs on the roster....O'Brien must get bored of watching run plays because he goes away from them for no reason.

I'm not sure how much weight you can attach to the argument about the quality of the receiving corp because if you're going to get into that much detail then you have to do it for every single position and then some i.e. what's the quality of the OL like, what about the offensive coordinator, head coach play calling etc. Where do you draw the line?

I agree. I've not noticed any rugby league fans saying that James Roby has damaged his legacy in recent seasons by taking Saints to the Grand Final and losing 5 in a row. RL fans would probably say Roby has enhanced his legacy because he doesn't have the same quality around him that he used to but he he has manned up and taken it on his shoulders to lead from the front and has helped Saints stay right up there when probably there are stronger squads (eg Warrington) that aren't making Grand Finals.
