Brady is an excellent quarterback, and he's bound to end up in the Hall of Fame. But he's not one of the best ever, he's not even the best of this generation!

Even a lot of Colts fans are saying Brady > Peyton now...and that will be pretty much guaranteed if the rumour of Manning losing 40% of his arm strength is true.

Peyton Manning is this generations Dan Marino - good on paper but his losing record in the playoffs and losing record in cold climates shows he isn't as good as Brady. Great QB yes, but not top 3 ever like Brady.

Peyton isn't even the best Manning anymore though either

It's a good system to use, on that case, Ricky Bibey is a better Rugby League player than Kevin Sinfield as he owns two challenge cup winners medals!

Would the Patriots have gone 2-14 without Brady this year...no chance! Peyton is that good he makes a 2-14 team, perenial play off contenders! He mightn't have rings....but how anyone can doubt he's one of the greatest of all time I do not know!

The Patriots wouldn't have gone 2-14 because they have a GM who doesn't build the team solely around one player the Colts ARE Manning the rest of the team are tag alongs.

Another reason why is Ryan Mallett & Brian Hoyer are both far better QB's than Curtis Painter and probably Orlovsky too.

Having no Manning is NOT the reason the Colts went 2-14...that is Bill Polian's fault.

Manning is one of the best ever, just not as good as Brady & Montana.

As someone said on here a few days ago and I tend to agree, you can't really use the terms 'best ever' and similar until the respective players careers are over, still a lot of miles on the clock so to speak.

Some of the knee jerk reactions from some Patriots fans are hilarious, we were basically one catch away (the Welker one) from winning another SB, if he caught that we had a chance to run the clock out and win the game but we will never know obviously. Yet some of our 'fans' are acting like we lost by 50 with some of the utter poop they are coming out with, there was one muppet who suggested Brady should retire and move into coaching because he has nothing left to offer, the same bloke said that Robert Kraft should 'clear house' and start again because we have no chance of winning a SB with this team or coach, you know the same team/coach that has just narrowly lost in the SB? Feckin morons I tell you

I like the way our team is shaping up TBH and think we have a bright future, obviously I'm gutted to lose in the SB who wouldn't be but a few additions and I don't see why we can't make a play-off run again next year.

Too Brady-centric and having tools in place for if he gets injured aren't the same thing, are you just being deliberately obtuse or are you just a bit slow minded?

If you look at the roster, there's a very good run game there but O'Brien just doesn't use it because he thinks having Brady means you HAVE to pass the ball all the time, even though the Jets and the Ravens both got ran on by Green-Ellis.

Outside of the Packers Brees probably has the best receiving corps in the NFL too. Colston, Meacham, Henderson at WR then Graham & Sproles...he has a lot of weapons.
